What mysecurityevent is working on.
We create opportunities for people responsible for cyber security to meet, share experiences from real projects, discuss specific questions confidentially and learn from each other.
Our Community
mysecurityevent brings people from the cyber security industry together. Our events are about real exchange, new contacts, interesting topics and learning from each other. Behind mysecurityevent is a team working across different areas. Marketing, sales, event organisation, content and community work closely together here. This means our days rarely look alike, and there are always new projects and tasks. New ideas are simply part of what we do. Much of what we do today originated directly within the team. We try things out, develop our formats and work together to see what works best for our community and our events. That also means doing things differently from time to time. Our events are, of course, a major part of our work. The whole team is regularly on site and sees first-hand what we have sometimes spent months working towards. From setting up and supporting participants and speakers to content and organisation, people across many areas pitch in together. We also enjoy spending time together outside our events. Our Christmas party, for example, takes place in a different European capital every year. We have already visited London and Oslo together, and a new city joins the list each year. Every summer, we also head to Ibiza for our annual workation. We spend 1 week together there, working on different topics and deliberately making time for workshops on sales, marketing and organisation. Shared evenings, the beach and time together as a team are, of course, part of it too. For us, these things belong together: working together, developing ideas, travelling and spending time with each other outside our everyday working lives. With mysecurityevent, we want to build a strong cyber security community. A place where people can exchange ideas openly, make new contacts, learn from each other and discover new technologies and developments. We also keep developing as a team. New ideas, shared projects and many different personalities make mysecurityevent what it is today.
Our Community
“Together we save the digital world.” Our vision is a cyber security world in which knowledge is shared rather than kept to oneself. An industry in which people speak openly with each other, learn from each other and work together to develop solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow. We believe that real security comes not only from new technologies, but above all from exchange, experience and the right people in the right place. This is exactly the place we want to create with mysecurityevent. A place where experts come together, discover new perspectives, discuss current developments and make contacts that last beyond the event. In the long term, we want to build one of the strongest cyber security communities in Europe and connect people from different companies, areas and roles. The more knowledge is shared and the better the right people are connected, the stronger the cyber security industry becomes as a whole. Our vision is therefore not simply to organise events, but to build a community that works together to take cyber security forward.

For me, leadership and team spirit mean leading with conviction and clear values, listening and remaining calm and clear even when things get difficult.
Strategic thinking, calmness and a clear understanding of people have shaped who I am. I learned much of this from my father at an early age. As a former world champion in Skat, he showed me that the most obvious move is not always the best. That outlook has stayed with me to this day: listen first, then decide, take responsibility and remain calm even in difficult situations.
